Thank you for visiting our website. You may also follow us on Facebook and Twitter. As always, we are very busy at the moment. We are currently in rehearsal for the play, ‘Spring and Port Wine’.

Our last play was ‘The Titfield Thunderbolt’ adapted from the film by Philip Goulding. Philip saw the photographs in our gallery, was impressed and responded by offering the Society the Amateur Premiere of his play ‘The Road to Nab End’, an adaptation for stage of the novel of the same name by William Woodruff.

This is a real honour and we have accepted the challenge. The play had its professional premier at the Oldham Coliseum in 2009. We are planning to perform the play in August 2012.

Our musical in April will be the ever popular ‘The Sound of Music’.

The ‘Players’ are associated with St Ambrose C of E Church in Leyland.
